ANTI-GUIDE

Why automations DO NOT work

And how companies lose money by doing it wrong.

1. Done without process analysis

The most common mistake? Automating chaos. If your manual process is flawed, unclear, and full of exceptions, automation will only speed up making mistakes. Before you touch Make.com, you must have the process mapped out on paper. Step by step. No guesswork.

2. Make ≠ magic button

Many entrepreneurs think "no-code" means "no-brain". Tools like Make or Zapier are powerful, but they require logical thinking, error handling, and understanding how APIs work. It's not magic. It's visual programming. If you don't take care of the architecture, you'll create a monster nobody can fix.

3. Bad input data

Garbage in, garbage out. If your salespeople enter phone numbers in five different formats, and emails with typos, no automation will fix that. Data hygiene is the foundation. Without standardized inputs, the automation will crash every other day.

4. Lack of monitoring

Implemented and forgotten? Mistake. APIs change, tokens expire, servers fail. Professional automation must have an error notification system. You need to know something didn't work before your angry customer finds out.
